Personal Profile

Callum studied Medicine at Cambridge University and undertook his Orthopaedic and Foot and Ankle surgical training in London and Melbourne, Australia. He has been a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals (Frimley Health Trust) since 2004.

He maintains an NHS and private practice, specialising in all forms of surgery of the foot and ankle. He is the regional Total Ankle Replacement surgeon and has a range of other clinical interests, including foot deformity correction, complex bunion deformities and sports injury treatment, including using keyhole and minimally invasive techniques. He can see (and operate when appropriate) on children aged 10 and above.

He has published several research papers on aspects of foot and ankle surgery and has been invited speaker at many local, national and international meetings on a range of related topics. Callum is heavily involved in surgical education: he has co-run the nationally recognised Windsor Foot & Ankle Fellowship since 2007 and has been involved in education at a national level since 2013.

He has held several leadership roles, including in Frimley Health NHS Trust, the Hospital Consultants and Specialists Association (HCSA), and The Princess Margaret Hospital. Currently Callum is President Elect of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
