Personal Profile

Ashika graduated from Coventry University with BSc Honours in Physiotherapy in 2013 and has worked in a variety of NHS settings since; Early Discharge Team at Kettering General Hospital (KGH), rotational positions to include respiratory care at KGH and Outpatient Musculoskeletal (MSK) at various sites across Northamptonshire. 

Ashika left the NHS setting to focus on orthopaedics/musculoskeletal physiotherapy at the Three Shires in 2017. She works on the wards with our pre and post-surgical patients, and also in outpatients providing individual treatment and advice. Ashika enjoys supporting patients throughout their journey, from their operation on the ward into outpatients and onto their discharge, ensuring continuity of care throughout.

Ashika is a Clinical Specialist in Pelvic Health physiotherapy, working closely alongside our Gynaecology and Urology consultants. She is passionate about improving quality of life for both men and women experiencing pelvic health concerns, providing specialist assessment and treatment for conditions including bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse and post-surgical rehabilitation. Ashika also supports individuals during and after pregnancy, and offers guidance in managing menopause related symptoms, helping individuals to achieve meaningful, long-term outcomes.
