Dr Aruni Ranasignhe is a Consultant Dermatologist based in Suffolk and the surrounding area with a special interest in moles, and skin Cancers such as melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. Aruni also treats people with lentigo maligna and sun damage and related skin lesions such as actinic keratosis, solar lentigo.
Dr Ransisnghe will see people with rashes such as psoriasis, eczema, skin allergy, acne and rosacea; and benign skin lesions such as viral warts, cysts, benign moles to offer an expert opinion and dermatology treatment in Suffolk at her private practice at the St Edmunds Hospital. Aruni can offer minor procedures such as cryotherapy, lesion removal and biopsies to help put your mind at rest.
Dr Ranasinghe can perform minor skin surgery of benign and malignant skin lesions where possible and can onward refer for lesions that may need a plastic surgeon. She can offer expert opinions and advise about further treatments you may need.
Aruni also offers psychodermatology including management of chronic skin disorders that impact on quality of life and mental health, she has a Dermatology NHS base in Suffolk at the Dermatology Department at West Suffolk Hospital and is happy to offer second opinions.
