Personal Profile

Dr Mirza completed Clinical Oncology specialist training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and Royal Marsden Hospital in London in 2014. He did a masters in Clinical Oncology (MSc) from Institute of Cancer Research, London in 2015 with research project in Image guided radiotherapy. He is currently working as a Lead Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in in Head and Neck, Lung cancer and skin cancer. He is also Radiotherapy Clinical Lead at Rosemere cancer centre in Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. He is the prime investigator for national head and neck clinical trials. He has special interest in Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy.

  • Cancers of the Head and neck, Lung and Non Melanoma Skin.
  • Radiotherapy including stereotactic body radiotherapy (SABR).
  • Delivers systemic anticancer treatment including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy.
