About Mr Anoop Anugraha

Personal Profile

Mr. Anoop Anugraha is an accomplished, fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon with specialist expertise in Foot and Ankle Surgery as well as Knee Surgery. With over two decades of clinical experience, he has built a reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on both surgical and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions. His  current NHS  practice is at  at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup and Darrent Valley Hospital in Dartford.

Mr. Anugraha began his medical journey in 1998 after qualifying as a doctor. He completed his specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2005, followed by obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2015. He also holds the prestigious European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EBOT) certification. He is listed on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.

A triple fellowship-trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon, Mr. Anugraha has pursued extensive sub-specialty training to refine his surgical expertise. His fellowships include:

  • The Manchester University Hospital Foot and Ankle Fellowship
  • The Foot, Ankle, and Diabetic Foot Fellowship at King's College Hospital, London
  • A Post-CCT Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Stockport Hospital

In addition to his foot and ankle expertise, he also completed a prestigious Knee Surgery Fellowship at King’s College Hospital, London. His broad surgical training ensures comprehensive care for a wide range of lower limb conditions.

Mr Anugraha’s clinical interests span a wide array of orthopaedic pathologies with a particular focus on:

His approach is always individualized, combining advanced surgical techniques with a strong emphasis on conservative management wherever possible. He is deeply committed to patient education, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their care.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Anugraha is actively involved in research and medical education.

He has presented at national and international conferences and has contributed to academic publications in his field. A passionate educator, he plays an active role in the training and mentoring of junior doctors and surgical trainees .He is The Royal college Tutor in orthopaedics and heads the  teaching programme for postgraduate and undergraduate  trainees He is also actively involved in recruitment and training of  medical students ,senior house officers and registrars and involved in national training interviews He has  been invited as faculty to many popular orthopaedic training /FRCS courses.
