She is a serving member of the defence medical services, and is the regional Military Associate Dean. She has undertaken operational deployments within Europe, Asia and the Middle East, gained ballistic trauma experience in Jamaica and taught on behalf of surgical charities in Ethiopia and Rwanda. Since consultant appointment she has been an invited speaker to national vascular conferences, and continues to teach on trauma and vascular courses.
Miss Sharrock’s interests cover the breadth of vascular surgery. She regularly performs endovenous treatments, sclerotherapy and microsclerotherapy for varicose veins and thread veins in the private sector.
