About Anish Bhuva

Personal Profile

Dr Anish Bhuva is renowned for his expertise in diagnosis and treatment of all aspects of heart disease. He is a Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre, the largest cardiovascular centre in Europe and has received multiple recognitions including the University of London Gold Medical for the top medical student across London.

He is an Associate Professor at University College London, leads the highly respected National Heart Rhythm Audit in NHS England, monitoring the quality of heart rhythm procedures nationwide. He has received numerous international and national awards for his clinical care, research and training. This includes:

  • Royal Society of Medicine Cardiology President's Prize

Dr Bhuva completed undergraduate training at St John’s College, Cambridge University and clinical training at University College London. Dr Bhuva has an international reputation for teaching and holds active research grants from the British Heart Foundation and National Institute for Health and Care Research.
