Mr Anil Kaul is a highly experienced Consultant General Surgeon specialising in General and Upper Gastrointestinal (Upper GI) Surgery. He is widely recognised for his expertise in complex Upper GI procedures and Bariatric (weight loss) surgery, with a strong focus on minimally invasive techniques. Over 90% of his operations are performed laparoscopically, ensuring faster recovery and reduced post-operative discomfort for his patients.
After completing his basic medical qualification (MBBS) in India, Mr Kaul undertook specialist higher surgical training in the Mersey and Cheshire region, leading to his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS). He also holds an MD degree from the University of Liverpool and is a recognised trainer for surgical trainees in the Mersey and Cheshire area, reflecting his commitment to education and clinical excellence.
