Ms Espeso has worked as an ENT Consultant Surgeon at Tayside NHS Trust, Borders General Hospital (also as a Medical Appraiser) and Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, after relocating to Scotland in April 2019 with her family. She has previously worked as an ENT Consultant and Clinical Lead in Colchester General Hospital in Essex.

Ms Espeso completed a Paediatric ENT Fellowship in Birmingham Children's Hospital after obtaining her completion specialist training in ENT in the South West of England and passed the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Examination in Oto-Rhino Laryngology Head & Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL- HNS). She has been an Honorary Lecture in Swansea University in Wales 2003-2020. She has been a Panel Member for the Intercollegiate Specialty Examination in Otolaryngology (FRCS ORL- HNS) MCQ Writing Group 2016-2026. She has also been an MRCS-ENT examiner for the Royal Colleges of Edinburgh, Glasgow, England and Ireland. She has also examined final year medical students from the University of Edinburgh Medical School. She has been the organiser of an International Paediatric Airway Course for 6 years, and she has been faculty in multiple ENT related courses. 

Her published scientific articles are available via LinkedIn Research, Academia. She is a co-author of ENT Key topics. Ms Espeso is affiliated by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and THEMIS protection society.
