About Mr Anees Gulfraz

Anees Gulfraz is a senior physiotherapist. He has a  specialist interest in temporomandibular disorders and is registered with the ACPTMD. Anees' other special interests include the treatment of knees, ankles and hands. Anees is able to help manage both conservative hand therapy patients and to provide specialist post operative splinting.

Prior to joining Circle Health Group, Anees was a specialist in the Trauma and Orthopaedic department at Whiston hospital. He then moved on to work within the Spinal Surgery outpatients team at Pinderfields hospital, and more recently worked as a specialist within musculoskeletal health at Bolton foundation trust. There, Anees worked in the Pain Management team, Specialist Hand service, pre and post operative orthopaedic clinics, as well as managing routine musculoskeletal disorders.

Anees has worked pitch side in half a dozen sports. He has a level 3 diploma in sports massage, and is rocktape accredited for Kinesiology and functional movement taping.
