Dr Andrew Ghabbour graduated in 2001 and subsequently completed core medical training in East Anglia. Following this, they pursued postgraduate training in Diabetes and Endocrinology, as well as General Internal Medicine, within the London, Kent, Sussex, and Surrey Deanery. During this time, Dr Ghabbour received advanced specialist training at two prestigious institutions: St George’s Hospital in London and the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
Currently, Dr. Ghabbour practices at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, where they run specialist endocrinology clinics on a regular basis. In addition to their outpatient responsibilities, they are actively involved in the care of acutely unwell inpatients. Their clinical expertise extends to managing complex endocrine disorders and providing high-quality care in both acute and chronic settings.
Dr Ghabbour is also an integral member of the regional Pituitary Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), contributing their expertise in the diagnosis and management of pituitary conditions. Their role extends beyond clinical practice to include significant involvement in medical education. They play an important role in teaching and mentoring both undergraduate medical students and postgraduate trainees, helping to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.
