Mr Andrew Chetwood

Mr Chetwood consults on adult urological conditions and has a special interest in reconstructive urology.

Training and Appointment

Having qualified from Sheffield University in 2007 with honours, Andrew completed his urology training in the south-east of England in 2016. This was followed by an overseas fellowship in uro-oncology, endo-urology and reconstructive urology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, South Australia.

He started as a Consultant Urological Surgeon with a sub-specialist interest in reconstructive urology in 2018.

Publications, lectures and teaching

Mr Chetwood has written several textbook chapters and published and presented widely. He is strongly committed to education and training, is an assigned education supervisor to the regional SpRs, has held two formal anatomy demonstrator posts in Sheffield and London respectively and is a regular contributor to Surgical Teaching, an online medical education platform.
