About Dr Amy Judson

Personal Profile

Miss Judson is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist working in Royal Lancaster Infirmary since 2017.  She graduated from St Andrews University in 2003 and the University of Manchester in 2006.  She completed Obstetrics & Gynaecology specialist training in 2017 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2025. 

Miss Judson is currently lead consultant for the early pregnancy unit at Lancaster. She also has a number of education roles past and present including undergraduate tutor for Lancaster Medical School, Trust Specialty training lead and Foundation programme director.
  
Clinically, her interests lie in general gynaecology focussing on outpatient and minor gynae surgical procedures such as hysteroscopy, coil insertion and endometrial ablation.   
  
Miss Judson combines friendly compassion with professional knowledge, experience and ability.  She is keen for women to feel at ease throughout their consultation and able to ask any questions they need before choosing a management plan.
