Background

Dr Al-Joudeh is a Consultant Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Honorary Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sheffield, with a private practice at Thornbury Hospital. He has a successful growing private practice in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy since 2015.

He is a member of the hepato-biliary cancer multi-disciplinary team and was the lead for the department of Hepatology at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals till 2025. He completed his specialist training in Hepatology & Gastroenterology in South Yorkshire including a dedicated Advanced Hepatology, Gastrointestinal and Hepato-Biliary Endoscopy training in Leeds and Sheffield.

Special Interests

Dr Al-Joudeh has a special interest in the management of fatty liver disease, biliary diseases, liver and bile duct cancers and biliary pain. He developed management pathways for managing common Hepato-Biliary diseases including cancer. He offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures which assist in the management of liver and biliary diseases.

He manages patients with early and advanced liver, biliary and gastrointestinal diseases, He is an experienced endoscopist offering upper, lower gastrointestinal endoscopy and ERCP.
