About Dr Alvin Lee
Personal Profile
Dr. Alvin Lee is a UK-trained, specialist-accredited Consultant Dermatologist with over 20 years of experience in dermatology. He sees patients aged 16+ and provides expert care for a wide range of skin conditions.
He obtained his medical degree in 2002 and went on to complete a Master of Science in Clinical Dermatology in 2005 at the renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology, King’s College London. Dr Lee has achieved numerous dermatology qualifications and has held respected academic roles, including teaching fellow at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and undergraduate examiner for both QMUL and King’s College London. He has also delivered lectures on acne, eczema, and skin cancer to medical students, as well as providing online dermatology teaching for GPs internationally.
Following completion of his dermatology training through the Wessex rotation in 2014, Dr Lee held substantive Consultant Dermatologist posts at King’s College Hospital London and Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
He now works in private practice, consulting at The Meriden Hospital in Coventry, Sarum Road Hospital, and The Winterbourne Hospital, offering specialist dermatology services to both self-pay and insured patients.
Dr Lee is committed to delivering personalised, patient-centred care. He offers both face-to-face and virtual (teledermatology) consultations, ensuring accessible, convenient care. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual, with a focus on achieving the best possible clinical outcomes.
