He has extensive experience in complex primary hip replacements as well as revision hip surgery. Mr Wall also has a keen interest in sports injuries of the hip. Mr Wall graduated from the University of Leicester in 1999. He became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2004 and proceeded on to orthopaedic training in Manchester in 2006. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010 and was award the certificate of completion of training in 2012. Mr Wall was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Bolton Hospital in March 2014.
During his last year of training Mr Wall undertook a Fellowship in hip surgery where he learnt hip arthroscopy techniques. He then undertook a specialist hip fellowship at Wrightington Hospital. He regularly teaches on hip replacement and trauma surgery courses, as well as courses for the Orthopaedic Fellowship exams. He is actively involved in the training of junior surgeons within the NHS. He has published papers in peer reviewed journals and contributed to orthopaedic text books.
