Alex is the Clinical Services Manager for the Physiotherapy Department at Beaumont Hospital in Bolton.

She leads a dedicated team who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Alex oversees the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring patients receive high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.

Alex is passionate about continuous improvement and believes in delivering compassionate, patient-centred care that helps individuals regain confidence, improve function, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

She graduated from The University of Birmingham with a First Class (Hons) Degree in 'Physiotherapy' in 2010. She then went on to complete her Junior NHS rotations at City Hospital, Birmingham. Alex joined the Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club Medical Team in 2012 as an 'Academy Physiotherapist' and committed to the club for over nine years. She ended her tenure in 2021 as 'Head of Academy Medicine'. Alongside her work at Wolves F.C., Alex also completed her Post-Graduate Diploma (with Merit) in 'Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy' at The University of Birmingham.

Together with her current role of 'Clinical Services Manager', Alex now specialises in musculoskeletal outpatients and sports rehabilitation. She has a particular interest in the knee joint and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries.
