About Ms Alexandra Chalwe

Personal Profile

Alex is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist working across both the inpatient and outpatient departments at the Beaumont Hospital, Bolton.

Alex graduated from the University of Birmingham with a 1st Class (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy in 2010; and went on to complete her junior NHS rotations at City Hospital, Birmingham. Alex joined Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club full-time in 2012 as an Academy Physiotherapist. She was promoted to 'Head of Academy Medicine' in 2017, and remained a key member of the Wolves Medical Team until January 2021. Alongside her work at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, Alex also completed her Post-Graduate Diploma (with Merit) in Advanced Manipulate Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham.

Alex now specializes in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation, and has a particular interest in the knee and Anterior Cruciate Ligament rehabilitation.
