About Mr Alexander Baker

Trained in Edinburgh and Newcastle, in centres of excellence for spinal surgery, with some of the world’s most highly respected spinal surgeons, Mr Baker has over twenty years’ experience since qualifying as a doctor. His current consultant appointment is at the Specialist Centre for Spinal Surgery, Royal Preston Hospital.

Mr. Baker is firmly committed to holistic, patient-centred care, in which individuals are fully informed and involved in every step of their treatment.  He takes his time to get to know all his patients and will always take the time to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Alex lives in the Lancashire, with his wife and two sons.

He is a committed Christian and an ordained Minister in Secular Employment, in the Church of England. He enjoys sailing, skiing as well as keeping pigs and chickens!  He is conversant in British Sign Language.
