He trained in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Yorkshire Deanery, which is based at Leeds University Medical School. There, he gained the 'Certificate of Completion' of specialist training in March 2000.
He then completed a further year of advanced fellowship training at The University of Toronto in Canada. This was in Children's Orthopaedics. After this, he joined the orthopaedic staff at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr Adedapo is passionate about surgical education. This is both within the NHS and privately, and in the UK and abroad. He also has an interest in how to make large organisations work better.
Mr Adedapo has been an examiner for the orthopaedic board exams for The Royal College of Surgeons intercollegiate boards for many years.
