Dr Akhlaque Uddin is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist based in Nottingham, UK, with over two decades of experience in cardiovascular medicine. He graduated in medicine in 2004 and has since built a distinguished career in both general and structural cardiology, combining clinical excellence with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
Dr Uddin was appointed as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the Trent Cardiac Centre, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, in 2017. His appointment followed extensive subspecialty training, including a Post-CCT Senior Fellowship in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester. He further broadened his expertise through an international fellowship in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, where he trained in advanced heart interventions.
