About Ms Aimee Durling

Personal Profile

Aimee qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2025 from Teesside University through the apprenticeship programme at Blackheath Hospital. Prior to this, she spent six years at Blackheath Hospital as a Patient Administrator, followed by four years as a Senior Physiotherapy Assistant.

During her apprenticeship, Aimee worked predominantly on the ward and gained valuable experience through placements across a variety of settings, including community, NHS, and private healthcare environments.

She takes a patient-centred approach to care, tailoring exercise programmes that incorporate all aspects of a patient’s lifestyle and goals. Aimee also has a strong foundation in exercise prescription, supported by her BA in Physical Education and Sport from the University of Greenwich.

Outside of work, Aimee enjoys long-distance running, which she uses to support both her physical and mental wellbeing.
