About Mr Ahmed Othman

Personal Profile

Mr Ahmed Othman graduated in Medicine in 1988 from Egypt. He came to the UK in 1995 and continued his training in Orthopaedics in Oxford from 1995 onwards, starting his Consultant post in 2003.

He developed his clinical interest in lower limb orthopaedic surgery and has published many papers in peer reviewed Orthopaedic journals.

He has been invited to talk in national and international venues, mainly about hip and knee surgery, and is an examiner for the Royal Colleges of Surgeons, England. He is qualified in medical education.

  • Hip arthroplasty surgery including: primary hip replacement and revision hip replacement; hip injections; early hip osteoarthritis management, hip pain management
  • Knee arthroplasty surgery including: primary total knee replacement, revision total knee replacement and management of painful total knee replacement
  • Knee arthroscopy, sports knee injury and knee pain management
