Dr Adejumoke Awoseyila is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care for children and young people from birth through adolescence. Based at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Basingstoke since 2018, she is recognised for her holistic approach to paediatric healthcare, combining clinical expertise with clear communication and a strong commitment to supporting families throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Awoseyila obtained her medical degree in Nigeria in 2004 before completing specialist paediatric training in the United Kingdom. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and has further developed her patient-centred approach through a Diploma in Transformational Coaching for Lifestyle Medicine. Alongside her clinical practice, she holds leadership roles in Cystic Fibrosis, Neonatal Medicine, Paediatric Research and Medical Simulation Training.

Her areas of particular interest include respiratory paediatrics, cystic fibrosis and neonatal medicine. She provides comprehensive assessment and management of a wide range of acute and chronic childhood conditions, including respiratory disorders, cardiac issues,  developmental concerns, growth and nutritional issues, gastrointestinal conditions, sleep-related problems, childhood excess weight management,  headaches, continence issues, faints and related disorders. 

Known for her warm and approachable manner, Dr Awoseyila is passionate about empowering young people to achieve their full potential. She is committed to delivering personalised care that supports not only a child's physical health, but also their overall wellbeing and long-term development.

In Dr Awoseyila’s spare time, she enjoys cooking and fitness training.
