Dr Adejumoke Awoseyila is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician with expertise in general paediatrics. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for children and young people. Dr Awoseyila has been based at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Basingstoke since 2018, where she is recognised for her holistic approach, combining exceptional clinical care with clear, supportive communication for paediatric patients and their families.

She obtained her primary medical qualification in Nigeria in 2004 and went on to complete her specialist paediatric training in the United Kingdom. Dr Awoseyila is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and has further developed her patient-centred approach through a Diploma in Transformational Coaching for Lifestyle Medicine.

Alongside her clinical work, she holds a number of leadership roles, including leads in Cystic Fibrosis, Neonatal Medicine, Paediatric Research, and Medical Simulation Training. Her clinical practice is underpinned by a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in paediatric care.

Dr Awoseyila has particular interests in respiratory paediatrics, cystic fibrosis, and neonatal medicine. She offers comprehensive assessment and management of a wide range of acute and chronic childhood conditions, including respiratory disorders, developmental concerns, growth and nutritional issues, gastrointestinal conditions, sleep-related problems, headaches, skin conditions, and continence issues.

Known for her warm and approachable manner, she is passionate about empowering children and young people to achieve their full potential. She is dedicated to delivering personalised care that supports not only physical health, but also overall wellbeing and long-term development.
