Mr Aladin qualified from Nottingham Medical School in 1995 and trained on the Nottingham Trent Orthopaedic training program starting in 2002. He obtained a higher Medical doctorate qualification during his training.
Mr Aladin spent one year sub speciality training in Auckland, New Zealand with Mr Hugh Blackley (one of New Zealand’s foremost revision hip and knee surgeon) in 2007 and then returned to the UK, where he then spent a further year training in Nottingham with the internationally renowned surgeon Mr Manktelow from 2008-2009.
Mr Aladin subsequently was appointed a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon in 2009 and has for 15 years been specialising in Hip and knee replacements including complex and revision hips. In addition, he has a practice including knee arthroscopies, trochanteric pain and other orthopaedic conditions of the lower limb. He is currently the deputy head of service for the orthopaedic department at Sherwood Forest Hospital.
Mr Aladin takes a keen interest in teaching and training junior doctors and remains at the forefront of orthopaedics by attending regularly conferences and meeting to ensure his practice remains up to date.
