About Dr Abhishek Jain

Personal Profile

Dr Abhishek Jain is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist with specialist expertise in sports imaging and a wide range of image guided MSK procedures. He completed his radiology training in Liverpool, followed by a prestigious Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada.

Dr Jain holds key academic roles, serving as Education Lead for Undergraduate Radiology at Liverpool University Hospitals and as an Honorary Fellow at Liverpool Hope University. He regularly teaches on national training programmes, including FRCR preparatory courses and the British Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course.

He has authored multiple peer reviewed publications and contributed to several chapters in leading radiology textbooks. Dr Jain is also frequently invited to present and teach at national and international conferences. He was part of the MSK imaging team for the IAAF World Championships London 2017.

Dr Jain is a member of the Medical Advisory Boards for Spire Liverpool Hospital and Fairfield Independent Hospital, and sits on the Sports Subcommittee of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology.
