Mr Chopada serves as a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at The Clementine Churchill Hospital, Bishops Wood Hospital, and the Syon Clinic in London. With over three decades of surgical expertise, he has extensive experience in colorectal and gastrointestinal surgery, managing a wide range of conditions such as rectal bleeding, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, indigestion, and constipation.

He provides compassionate and meticulous care for various conditions, including haemorrhoids (piles), fissures, colonic polyps, colon cancer, gallstones, and hernias. He is also highly skilled in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgical techniques, ensuring optimal patient outcomes with reduced recovery times.

Mr Chopada completed his MBBS in 1989 from the University of Poona, India, achieving several academic honours. He was selected for the Master’s Programme, which he completed with top honours in 1992. Following his surgical training in India, he undertook the prestigious North Thames (East) Higher Surgical Scheme at University College London Hospital, completing it in 2003.

He has a particular research interest in the angiogenesis of colon cancer, which earned him a Master’s degree from the University of London. His groundbreaking work in the field reflects his commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care.

Recognised by Tatler magazine as one of the top gastrointestinal surgeons in the UK in 2007 and again in 2013, Mr Chopada has earned widespread acclaim for his clinical expertise. He also received a Clinical Excellence Award for his contributions at Ealing Hospital NHS Trust, highlighting his dedication to delivering exceptional patient care.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Chopada is actively involved in mentoring and training the next generation of surgeons, as well as contributing to medical research and education. His warm and empathetic approach ensures patients feel confident and well-supported throughout their treatment journey.
