1. Can I see the same GP as before?

Yes, you can. When booking through our enquiry centre via telephone or online, you have the option to choose the same GP for your visits. 

2. What types of tests and investigations are available? 

Private GPs can arrange a variety of tests, including blood tests, ECGs, and imaging like X-rays and MRIs. These can often be done quickly and conveniently. 

3. Do you accept walk-in appointments? 

We don't offer walk-in appointments. To see a private doctor, you'll need to schedule an appointment in advance 

4. Can I choose where to go for further treatment?  

Absolutely – the choice is yours. Your GP can provide a referral or recommendation letter based on your condition and circumstances and will discuss all available options with you. London Independent Hospital offers direct access to a wide range of specialist consultants. 

5. Can private GP services issue prescriptions?  

Yes, our GPs can issue prescriptions. Please note that private prescriptions differ from NHS prescriptions. Your GP will explain this during your visit if you require medication.
