 At Droitwich Spa Hospital we offer private, face-to-face GP appointments for patients aged 18 and over.

We understand that it can be a struggle to get the GP appointment you want quickly, so therefore this service offers you another option for getting the medical advice you need with a fast turnaround. As well as any tests or onward referrals that might be required.

Our private GP service offers you fast access to appointments, as well as, a variety of times, including 15-, 30- and 45-minute slots, depending on how much time you think you’ll need.

We have both male and female GPs available for consultations and they provide a multitude of services which include:

• General health advice, checks and tests 
• Consultation and treatment for minor, acute and chronic illnesses
• Women’s and men’s health 
• Sexual health and contraception advice 
• Vaccinations and immunisations 
• Referral letters to specialist consultants 
• Medication reviews and private prescriptions

Your consultation with one of our private general practitioners will enable you obtain the medical advice you require, quickly and efficiently in a comfortable and clinical environment.

Please note we cannot offer private GP consultations to anyone under the age of 18.

Seeking an appointment with a private GP will not affect or replace your relationship with your local NHS GP practice. We are here to purely provide additional clinical support and complement the care and treatment you receive from the NHS, ensuring a collaborative approach to your health and well being.

Any treatment you receive from your private GP, and the hospital will be communicated to your local GP, ensuring your medical records remain up-to-date.

There are a variety of appointment durations available depending on how long you think you might need, or how much you have to discuss with your private GP.

Prices start from £70.00 for a 15 minute appointment but please see more information on prices and timings below:

• Express: 15 minutes - £70.00
• Standard: 30 minutes - £130.00
• Long: 45 minutes - £170.00
• Extended: 60 minutes - £200.00
