About Mr Zak Latif

Personal Profile

Mr Zak Latif attended The Glasgow Academy and then Cambridge University Medical School, where he completed his undergraduate studies over 5 years.

On moving back to Glasgow, Mr Latif completed his Basic Surgical and Higher Surgical Training in the West of Scotland and was awarded a MD thesis on Bladder Cancer Genetics (HER-2) in 2002.

He was appointed a Consultant Urologist in 2007 in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and he is currently the Training Programme Director for Urology trainees in the West of Scotland.

Mr Latif’s NHS practice encompasses all aspects of Urology. He sees patients with bladder, prostate, testicular and renal cancer as well as patients with many benign conditions.
