About Dr Waseem Bakkour

Personal Profile

Dr Waseem Bakkour is a senior consultant dermatologist, with special interest in skin cancer surgery (Mohs), lasers and cosmetic dermatology. After obtaining the membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2009, he pursued his specialist dermatology training at the prestigious dermatology centre in Manchester, which led to him obtaining his certificate of completion of training in Dermatology (CCT).

He then followed this with sub-specialist, Royal College approved, fellowship training in micrographic and advanced skin cancer surgery (Mohs), lasers and aesthetics. He then joined the prestigious University College London Hospital as a consultant dermatologist where he led the skin cancer service. At the same time he started his private practice on world-renowned Harley street. In 2023 he started to dedicate all his time to his private practice.

Dr Bakkour has also participated in research extensively presenting his work at international and national conferences. He has also taught and supervised the next generation of dermatologists. He is an active member of the British Association of Dermatology.
