Personal Profile
He spent a year as a Fellow in oncoplastic breast and endocrine surgery at the Nightingale Centre University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust. Since 2011, he has been the lead Endocrine Surgeon at the James Cook University Hospital Foundation Trust with a large thyroid and parathyroid practice.
Mr Elsaify also works closely with a team of Endocrinologists to offer a multidisciplinary approach to thyroid and parathyroid conditions dysfunction. Mr Elsaify routinely performs laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallbladder disease and open and laparoscopic hernia repair. He also performs other hernia surgery and excision of skin lesions, lumps and bumps.
Mr Elsaify trained in all aspects of Endocrine (Thyroid, Parathyroid, Adrenal) and Breast surgery at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle- upon -Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He then spent a year as a fellow in endocrine and breast surgery at the Nightingale Centre University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Fellowship South Manchester University Hospital 2009).
He has performed over a thousand thyroid and parathyroid procedures.
Mr Elsaify routinely performs gallbladder removal surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy, Key hole surgery) for gallbladder disease. He also carries out open and keyhole hernia repair surgery and excision of skin lesions, lumps and bumps.
