Mr. Vivek Dhukaram is a consultant Orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialist interest in foot and ankle surgery. He has extensive experience in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology with special interest in sports injuries, deformity correction and minimally invasive surgery.  

He was trained and accredited as an Orthopaedic surgeon from South Trent training scheme. He undertook advanced fellowship training from renowned foot & ankle centres - Nottingham and RNOH Stanmore and also awarded British Orthopaedic foot & ankle society and European foot & ankle society travelling fellowships.  

Mr.Dhukaram has set up the specialist foot and ankle service at University hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS trust and continues to develop. His surgical practice include modern hallux valgus (bunion) surgery, lesser toe surgery, arthroscopic procedures of ankle, subtalar, big toe joints including arthroscopic guided joint fusions, ankle replacement, ligament reconstruction, midfoot & hindfoot deformity correction, rheumatoid foot surgery, diabetic foot surgery, tendon transfers, tendon reconstruction, foot & ankle fracture fixation and revision surgery for previous unsuccessful procedures from other surgical units.  

His professional interests include research, teaching surgical trainees and other medical professionals. He has presented and published on various aspects of foot and ankle surgery – hallux valgus, lesser toe deformities, minimally invasive surgery, tibialis posterior dysfunction and ankle fracture.
