About Miss Victoria Sinclair

Personal Profile

Miss Victoria Sinclair qualified in medicine from the University of Manchester in 2004. She completed her junior surgical training in hospitals around the North West and Glasgow before gaining a place on the North West Trauma and Orthopaedic Specialist Training Rotation in 2009. 

She has completed two fellowships, which include a British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) sponsored attachment in Blantyre, Malawi and a year spent in Southmead Hospital, Bristol under the guidance of Ian Winson, Steve Hepple and Bill Harries, with a focus on arthroscopic (key hole) surgery. She gained extensive experience in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology including complex trauma. Victoria has presented numerous projects at conferences both nationally and internationally and published widely within Trauma and Orthopaedics.

Victoria took up a substantive consultant post in 2017 based at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI) and Westmorland General Hospitals (WGH). She has been the clinical site lead for RLI and maintains an active role in service development. She is a member of the Standards for Training Committee in Orthopaedics for the North West. She is involved in delivering teaching in foot and ankle surgery to the specialist orthopaedic trainees in the region.
