Effective August 2025, Dr Freire will be available to consult with patients aged 16 and above at the Hampshire Clinic
Dr Freire qualified from Southampton university in 2010. Prior to this she undertook a biomedical sciences degree with honours.
She completed her training locally in the Hampshire area mainly at Basingstoke and Southampton. Dr Freire’s rotations included general surgery, orthopaedics, general medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency department and general practice.
Dr Freire is a GMC registered GP with over 7 years’ experience.
Dr Freire enjoys all aspects of general practice but has a specialist interest in women’s health and is a menopause specialist.
Her passion for women’s health began whilst she was a junior doctor, and she has continued to develop this skillset throughout her career. She has gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, is qualified to fit coils and implants and has an advanced certificate in Menopause.
Dr Freire is passionate about knowledge sharing, both with her patients as well as fellow medics. She is involved in the training, education and examination of both medical students and junior doctors.
In Dr Freire’s spare time she tries to keep fit by running after her children, playing badminton and going to the gym.
