About Mrs Vani Sesetty

Personal Profile

Vani has her bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from NTR university of health sciences, India. Vani moved to the UK  20 years ago and started working as MSK Physio for the first few years of her career. Her passion for holistic and integrative physiotherapy grew more when she specialised in women's health/pelvic health. For more than a decade, Vani has been working to pioneer combining physical and mental health therapy into integrative physiotherapy, which is clearly reflected in her practice. She is also an internationally qualified CBT health coach.

Vani works closely with MDT at Ridgeway hospital including menopause specialist consultants and advanced practice nurse to manage peri and menopausal women. Some of the treatment modalities include advanced manual therapy for the pelvic floor, trigger point release, fascia work, CBT,  pilates and yoga therapy with therapeutic breath work along with standard pelvic floor strengthening, bladder and bowel re-training, biofeedback, and electrical stimulation. Patient education, advice and empowerment are also used as the main tools for chronic conditions.

Some of the conditions treated are Pelvic floor dysfunction, prolapses, bowel and bladder incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, bladder pain syndrome/interstitial cystitis, endometriosis management and pregnancy-related MSK problems including diastasic recti.
