About Tracy Ward

Personal Profile

Tracy Ward graduated with a Master’s degree (with Merit) in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University in 2010, following a first-class Honours degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Aberdeen. 

She has since completed multiple postgraduate qualifications, including a Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, and Acupuncture.

Tracy is also a certified APPI Pilates Instructor and works as a Senior Presenter, teaching and developing postgraduate courses for them. 

Her commitment to education extends into writing where she contributes regularly to a sports medicine publication and is the author of her own book, Science of Pilates.

With a strong background in sports rehabilitation, Tracy has worked with Scottish Hockey at both national and international levels, as well as with Team GB competitive ice skaters. 

Her clinical interests include exercise prescription, sports injury rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal ante/postnatal care.

Dedicated to evidence-based practice, Tracy stays actively engaged with the latest research to ensure her patients receive the most current, effective care in their rehabilitation journey.
