Dr Lim works as a consultant Hepatologist at Royal London Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust), one of London’s leading teaching hospitals. He studied Medicine in University of Cambridge and completed his specialist training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and General Internal Medicine in London.
Dr Lim routinely manages patients with a wide range of digestive and liver conditions, including performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. He has a specialist interest in fatty liver disease (or metabolic liver disease) and leads a joint Diabetes-Liver clinic, providing integrated care for patients with metabolic liver disease.
He has undertaken research on liver diseases in pregnancy and is an active member of the Obstetrics-Liver multidisciplinary team at Royal London Hospital. These research has been published in a wide range of peer reviewed distinguished journals and presented in national and international conferences.
As a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, Dr Lim is actively involved in medical education.
