In 1986, Mr Yasen was appointed to Registrar at The Royal Hospital of Victoria, in Bournemouth, he later progressed to work as Associate Specialist at the hospital. During this time he gained excellent experience in vitreoretinal Surgery, glaucoma, neuroophthalmology, oculoplstics, anterior segment and ocular motility.
Mr Yasen also has extensive experience carrying out laser procedures on the eye and is an expert in cataract extractions. Early in 1991 Mr Yasen was the first at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Bournemouth to perform awhole list of cataract operations as day case surgery. In 1999 to further develop his skills Mr Yasen undertook a years training at the Southampton Eye Unit.
Through this experience he mastered techniques such as adjustable structures and injection treatment of squint. Mr Yasen now works as Locum Consultant Opthamologist at PMH, Swindon. He started there in September 2000.
