Dr Tathagata Das completed his post-graduate training in Clinical Oncology at Weston Park Hospital, Sheffield and has been working as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Weston Park Hospital since 2013.

Dr Das specialises in the non-surgical treatment of Lung cancer, Mesothelioma, Basal cell and squamous cell cancer of the skin. Dr Das is hugely experienced in the treatment of cancer with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy. He is an expert in Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SABR) treatment of primary and secondary Lung tumours as well as spinal metastasis. Dr Das has participated in several national and international clinical trials and has many publications in peer reviewed international journals. He was the Thoracic Oncology Lead at Weston park hospital for several years.

Dr Das has contributed to textbooks on the management of Lung cancer and was the Training Programme Director, Clinical Oncology for the South Yorkshire Training scheme.
