Personal Profile

Tamer Abdelrazik is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at The Great Western Hospital in Swindon. He is involved in the management of general gynaecological problems, such as heavy periods, HRT, pelvic pain including painful intercourse and has a special interest in the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and female urinary incontinence (Urogynaecology).

Mr Abdelrazik graduated from Cairo University in 1994, after completing a four year training programme at Al-Hussein University hospital, in Cairo, he joined the speciality training programme in the southwest of England. He received advanced training in urogynaecology at Southmead Hospital, in Bristol. Mr Abdelrazik has contributed his medical research both in the UK and abroad. In 2000, he was awarded a Masters Degree (MSc) at Al Azhar University, in Cairo. Mr Abdelrazik teaches medical students at Universities in both Bristol and Oxford, and coordinates training courses/scientific meetings for junior doctors.
