As a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of Edinburgh, Dr Bilgrami brings both high-level academic rigour and real-world clinical experience. 
He is actively involved in national and international rheumatology research, and mentor and supervisor for the next generation of doctors. He sees full spectrum Rheumatology and also offer joint injections and aspiration if indicated.

Dr Bilgrami is trained in Rheumatology, General Internal Medicine as well as Family Medicine. He has national as well as international experience.  He had his Rheumatology training in Wales, UK and has worked in Chester, England as Consultant Rheumatologist and is practicing as substantive Rheumatology Consultant in Royal Lancaster Infirmary Hospital and Westmoreland General Hospital Kendal since 2017. His patients may reflect more about him.

Clinical Interests

Dr Bilgrami brings an exceptional breadth of expertise in rheumatology — from general joint and bone conditions including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoritic arthritis, Gout, Psudo-gout & Osteoarthritis to complex autoimmune and connective-tissue disorders. His special interest is in small and large vessel vasculitis. However, he excels in managing all Rheumatic conditions.
