Mrs Supriya Bulchandani is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and Urogynaecologist, providing private care at The Meriden Hospital in Coventry. She is the only Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) accredited subspecialist urogynaecologist in the Coventry and Warwickshire region, reflecting her advanced level of expertise.
She trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India before completing her postgraduate training in the West Midlands, UK. She went on to undertake subspecialty training in urogynaecology at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, one of the UK’s leading centres for women’s health.
Mrs Bulchandani currently leads the urogynaecology service at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, delivering specialist care for complex pelvic floor conditions.

Mrs. Bulchandani’s main areas of interest are Urogynaecology (vaginal prolapse and urinary incontinence, bladder pain & recurrent cystitis) and General Gynaecology (period problems, menstrual disturbances, pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, & vaginal discharge).

She conducts urodynamic studies clinic to investigate the bladder prior to incontinence and prolapse surgeries and leads a Pelvic Floor Clinic in a multidisciplinary team in order to manage pelvic floor dysfunction.

She is also expert in managing heavy periods. In addition, she has extensive experience in managing recurrent prolapse and vaginal vault prolapse, both by vaginal and laparoscopic approach. She offers urethral bulking injections for stress incontinence as day case procedures.

She has a special interest in obstetric anal sphincter injuries, and runs a special clinic for that at University Hospital Coventry alongside a perineal specialist midwife and physiotherapist. She performs endoanal (back passage sphincter) ultrasound scans in that clinic and works closely with colorectal surgeons for further management of these patients. She undertakes perineal refashioning and labial reduction, as well.

Her consulting and operating charges are within BUPA monetary limits and she is a registered practitioner with most health insurance companies.
