Dr Stephen Evans is an experienced and knowledgeable gastroenterology consultant with significant experience in managing inflammatory bowel disorders such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Additionally, he has expertise in all areas of general gastroenterology and hepatology. He was the Specialty Lead for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals until he left the NHS in 2017 after 28 years. 

He is highly skilled in endoscopic procedures. Patients can be confident that Dr. Evans will provide them with a professional service that includes clear communication of findings to other clinicians involved in their care.

Dr Evans gained his medical degree from the University of London in 1989 and spent time as a junior doctor in England and New Zealand before returning to the UK to train in Gastroenterology. He undertook research at Guy's and St. Thomas's hospitals investigating environmental factors in inflammatory bowel disease.

Outside of work, Dr Evans enjoys spending time with his family, learning languages, sailing, and travelling.
