Dr. Bhutani embarked on his medical journey by completing his undergraduate degree in medicine (MBBS) in India in 2004, a significant milestone that laid the foundation for his future expertise.
After several years of dedicated study and medical training, he further honed his skills by undertaking Specialty Training in Medicine (MRCP) in 2010, immersing himself in the rich medical environment of North-East England, where he embraced the challenges and intricacies of the field.
He cultivated a deep passion for Nephrology, captivated by the complexities of kidney health. This enthusiasm led him to the vibrant region of North-West England, where he embarked on an intensive journey to refine his expertise.
At the prestigious Manchester Royal Infirmary, amidst the bustling atmosphere of a leading medical institution, he completed his Higher Specialty Training in Renal Medicine in 2014, honing his skills and knowledge in this critical field of medicine. Following his training, he pursued a Kidney and Transplant Fellowship from 2014 to 2016 at Manchester Royal Infirmary in Manchester, UK.
In 2016, he moved to Toronto, where he completed a clinical transplant fellowship in kidney transplantation, accredited by the American Society of Transplantation (AST) at the University of Toronto, Canada. Later in 2017, Dr. Bhutani was appointed as a Consultant Nephrologist at Manchester Royal Infirmary, where he has been dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with renal issues and those undergoing kidney transplants.
In 2021, Dr. Bhutani obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
Continuing his professional development, Dr. Bhutani completed a Master’s degree (MSc) in Applied Transfusion and Transplantation Science at the University of the West of England in Bristol in 2023.
His research interests encompass the intricate fields of nephrology and kidney transplantation. With a passion for advancing medical knowledge, he has made significant contributions to the field, sharing his insights and findings at numerous esteemed conferences throughout the region. Through his presentations, he engages audiences with compelling data and innovative ideas, driving forward the understanding of kidney health and the complexities of transplantation.
