Personal Profile

Shital qualified as a physiotherapist in 1996 from M.S. University, India. She has worked in India for three years with multiple specialities including musculoskeletal, orthopaedics and paediatric. She has obtained HCPC registration in 2003 and worked in musculoskeletal and community areas in NHS since then.

Since 2006, she has worked in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and also ran various group classes at Newham hospital, east London. She has continued providing her musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to Newham CCG as one of the provider for 10 years.

Shital has experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy both in NHS and private healthcare settings and has started working at Bishops Wood Hospital since February 2020 which has involved her in working with patients for rehabilitation of spinal and peripheral joint disorders, sports injuries and postoperative rehabilitation. She is also pilates and acupuncture trained.

Shital is passionate about physiotherapy and has always enjoyed working with patients to make them feel better and has firmly believed in good communication and gentle approach as a key to success in treatment.

Shital enjoys challenging herself and looking out for latest advances in Physiotherapy to treat patients effectively.
