Ms Ross is a Consultant Neurosurgeon in the NHS at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Following her medical school training in Dublin, she further trained in in Dublin, USA, Glasgow and London, completed her National Training in Neurosurgery in Southampton, and obtained her CCT in Neurosurgery in 2014.
She has extensive subspecialty experience in Neuro-Oncology including Awake craniotomy with brain mapping, Spinal Surgery for degenerative conditions, CSF pathway disorders including Chiari malformations and Hydrocephalus.
She works with the Specialist Paediatric Neurosurgery units in Glasgow and Edinburgh and reviews Paediatric patients with Spina Bifida, Tethered Cord Syndrome, Chiari malformations, Shunts, Abnormal head shapes, Brain and Spinal Tumours and Spinal pathologies. She is the Lead for Paediatric Neurosurgery in NHS Grampian.
Ms Ross teaches Neurosurgery trainees in the NHS and regularly gives lectures to doctors in the North-East of Scotland. She is also a Regent at Aberdeen University Medical School.
Ms Ross has extensive clinical and surgical experience and provides excellent care.
