Dr Shairoz Merchant is an experienced consultant medical oncologist with specialist expertise in the management of breast and lung cancers. She provides comprehensive, patient-centred oncology care, with a strong focus on developing individualised treatment plans that reflect each patient’s diagnosis, clinical needs and circumstances. Dr Merchant qualified in medicine from King’s College London before undertaking specialist training in medical oncology at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. During her training and subsequent clinical career, she developed extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a range of oncological conditions, with particular expertise in breast cancer, lung cancer and acute oncology.
Her clinical practice includes the use of systemic anti-cancer therapies for breast and lung cancers.
