Dr Gareeboo worked as a Locum Respiratory Consultant at East and North Herts NHS Trust where he developed a respiratory high dependency unit. He moved to work at Ealing Hospital where he led the tuberculosis service.
Dr Gareeboo was appointed as a Substantive Respiratory Consultant at South London Healthcare NHS Trust in 2011. He now leads the lung cancer service at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is also the Vice Chair of the South-East London Lung Cancer Tumour Working Group.
