Dr Sarah Rasool is a Consultant Dermatologist at the Royal United Hospital Bath where she has been the Lead Consultant for Dermatology since 2022.

Dr Rasool was Governance Lead from 2022 to 2024 and the Dermatology Speciality Tutor from 2019 to 2022. She continues in her role as an Educational Supervisor and delivers regular postgraduate teaching.

Dr Rasool graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2006 and completed her postgraduate and specialist training in the UK. She has a strong medical background and broad experience in treating inflammatory skin conditions, skin cancer and skin surgery. She is a dedicated clinician who keeps her skills and practice up to date.

Dr Rasool has a specialist interest in psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea and skin cancer and has the expertise to consult on all areas of inflammatory skin disease, skin cancer, pre-cancerous lesions, the removal of benign skin lesions including cysts, small lipomas and milia, mole/skin checks, removal of skin cancers, hair conditions,pigmentary disorders and advice on skincare tailored to patient concerns.

For any patient that has a Lipoma greater than 2cm, this will require surgical input rather than a Dermatologist. Please refer to a Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for the neck and head, or a General/Plastic Surgeon for all other body areas.
