He completed his 5 year oncology training program in Nottingham & Leicester. He obtained his Masters of Science degree in Oncology from University of Nottingham in 2001. He became a fellow of Royal College of Radiologists in 2001.
Prior to that, he did his general Medical training in the Greater Manchester area and obtained his Membership of Royal College of Physicians in 1997.
He obtained his European Certification in Medical Oncology in 2002 and passed his UK General Medical Council exams in 1996. He passed his United States Medical Licensure exams in 1995.

Having been trained as a General Oncologist, he is quite happy to treat all common cancers.
In particular, he specialises in the treatment of Urological Cancers (Prostate, Kidney & Bladder) and Gynaecological cancers (Ovary, Uterus & Cervix.
He has published extensively and presented studies at National and International conferences.He reguarly enters patients into National & International clinical trials evaluating new and exciting anti-cancer drugs.
Dr Sundard likes to see patients promptly and he is a firm believer in individualised care. He is very approachable and happy to discuss each and every concern of the patients. He also strongly believes that focus on quality of life is very important for all cancer patients.
He is married with two wonderful children. He spends his spare time by watching factual TV programs and reading the news. He relaxes by playing console games particularly with my children.
Although his clinics are held on Friday morning he can also be available for evenings appointments, please ask when calling to book an appointment.
